Today is the "official" start of the Easter festivities. Most major churches are lit up and every evening during the Big/Great Week (Μεγάλη Βδομάδα) there is a special service which is broadcast by the loudspeakers. It's the sound of Easter which today accompanies a gorgeous full moon.
